From White House lawn to White House farm? Brilliant!

One of the podcasts I listen to (only semi-regularly now, since I don't have that soul-crushing 4-hr commute every day) is called The Food Chain Weekly Radio Program. Lots of different topics are addressed by podcaster Michael Olson, but the upcoming show sounds particularly cool:

Show #620: A FARM FOR THE WHITEHOUSE (available for download soon)

Guests: Daniel Bowman Simon and Casey Gustowarow (tent.) from the White House Farm Project

Subject: Daniel Bowman Simon and Casey Gustowarow are on a cross country mission in a topsy turvy bus to convince the new President to establish an organic farm at the White House. Their mission leads us to ask… What do you want the new President to do for the food chain?

Topics include a look at the history of growing food at the White House; why Simon and Gustowarow have taken it upon themselves to convince the new President to establish an organic farm at the White House; and tales from the road to the White House Farm.

You can contribute your own ideas on the Metrofarm forum, or right here if you'd like to.

What do YOU want the new President to do for the food chain?

Eat the Republicans for breakfast with Bush's head on a platter.
