We finally went to one of the few local Turkish restaurants earlier this week. They were playing something really cool -- Ibrahim somebody -- but the husband of the waitress made her turn it off. They then proceeded to play the Turkish equivalent of elevator music. She said, "Ibrahim [so and so] isn't to everybody's taste." I said I liked it, and heard her tell her husband in the kitchen, "THEY liked it ... " I was THIS close to asking her if she had any Tarkan to play! LOL!

Is he looking and sounding good or what??!! He's supposed to have an album out in Feb!! In the meantime, check out Murat Boz -- very good! Not Tarkan, but enjoyable.

Alas, he wasn't able to dance as much as he wanted because the stage was wet. Darn!
