More pet food fallout

Yes, this is still going on. Two days ago Natural Balance recalled more products, this time canned stuff. Blue Buffalo & Harmony Farms products were also recalled, according to the manufacturing company American Nutrition. Ont he cheap side, Costco's Kirkland brand has been recalled.

The best resouce I've seen, The Pet Food List, has been expanded to include both recalled and not recalled brand information, so you have it all on one list. There are more resouce links there too.

When in doubt, the FDA has its own recall information page.

So far Nestle/Purina has voluntarily recalled some dog food, and Del Monte (maker of 9 Lives) has recalled some dog food and Pounce cat treats.

Looks like I'll be pitching the last couple cans of Natural Balance - the Shadowkitty never liked that crap anyways.
