In case you hadn't heard... the shiny new epic World of Warcraft comic book will hit the stands heroically on November 14th.

There's also a good-looking World of Warcraft manga, The Sunwell Trilogy, already out in stores. We picked up vol.2 at HalfPriceBooks last week, but since I don't have vol.1 yet I haven't cracked it open. Yeah, I'm a stickler that way.

I'm downloading files for the 2.3 patch as I type. It goes live on Tuesday, the 13th. Maybe Blizzard does plan ahead... while all of us illegal skin/mod perverts will be crying in our shimmerstout over the loss of our hacks, at least we'll have the new comic book to ogle on The Day After.

Aw I love your stitchy icon. Even though I am grateful it doesn't show the vast detail as in the game. Going thru the Undercity I keep my eyes averted much of the time! I'd love to put a skin on those guys that turns them into anything else.

Where would I get the 2.3 patch for the European servers - do you know perchance?

I am not sure... I just ran the BackgroundDownloader.exe (in the WoW program file folder) and it started sucking down the patch info. :)

Someone on the forums said you could get it from BitTorrent but I haven't checked that out.

Ah ok - tried it and my machine said it wasn't ready yet!! Oh well, I'll just have to be patient!!!
