You know, you're the only person I've known, outside of my own family, who has ever mentioned that song. LOL My 6 year old niece is in love with it and sings it all the time, God help us. ;)
We used to do shows for certain events - if it was somebody's birthday everyone would get together and sing songs for them. Kind of like karoke, the home version. :)
I'm a John Prine fan, so I picked out this song for grindar and I to sing at one of these shindigs *years* ago. It kinda became "our song", hehe.
Ten years -- that's better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick, you know? Well done! Do something nice for yourselves to celebrate!! For our tenth anniversary, my husband took me back to the place in the Rockies where we had our honeymoon. It was wonderful. Especially since the first time I spent the whole week barfing with migraines.... not ideal for a honeymoon, really.
