Be off, ye frosty morns!
May. 4th, 2008 04:10 amWhen one is awakened at o'stupidclock in the morning and seized with a sudden panic that the wee catnip plants one just bought are in danger of freezing because it's so damn cold outside, one skitters out onto the deck naked in the dark to rescue said plants and set them indoors... just in time for them to be nibbled by CATS... so one relocates the tiny plants to the bathtub... and then one remembers the lily is still sitting outside unplanted and probably cold as well... so one goes downstairs and pulls that plant in off the patio...
Then one is rather awake and chilly at o'stupidthirty so one does a meme. Of course.

folkchick3... List seven songs you are into right now. No matter what the genre, whether they have words, or even if they're not any good, but they must be songs you're really enjoying now, shaping your spring. Post these instructions in your LJ along with your 7 songs.
1) Winter's On the Wing from the musical Secret Garden. The ultimate springtime soundtrack! All of the songs from this show have been much on my mind as I've been playing the heck out of the original cast CD. Much to
grindar's consternation.
2) First of May by Jonathan Coulton. 'Tis the season!
3) Sheeshe Se Pee by Ravi, sung by Asha Bhonsle from the movie Phool Aur Patthar (1966).
4) In Spite of Ourselves by John Prine & Iris DeMent. Our song.
5) Everybody Wants My Fanny by Benny Bell circa 1949. I always thought it was a Benny Hill song~! Anyhow, I love it when
grindar sings it.
6) Richard Dawkins Rap by Michael Edmonson & Matt Chandler. I know, I know. I just can't stop playing it. Catchy!
7) Where Peaceful Waters Flow by Chris DeBurgh. This version just floors me.
Tag yersel's. I'm like to find myself back in bed, or worse. :)
