Kosher Coke?

razzleccentricDid you know... Coca Cola makes a limited supply of Coke with REAL SUGAR for Passover???
I didn't. I'd like to get my grubby paws on some of that.
Another interesting part of this story is that Coca Cola switched over to HFCS in place of sugar in 1985. I don't remember anything about that factor specifically (back then I was far removed from the level of food-industry-hyperawareness that permeates my being now) but apparently it was all part and parcel of the New Coke Fiasco of '85. Lord, I do remember that terrible time. I LOATHED New Coke with a burning passion that drove me into the sickly sweet, crazy caffeinated arms of Mountain Dew. And by the time Classic Coke finally came back, it was imbued with HFCS and my taste buds were too devastated by the Dew to tell the difference.
Damn you, Pepsi, damn you to hell. You ruined the Coke of my childhood. I always said you were Satan's soda.
