Music of Life
May. 15th, 2007 04:08 pmLots of people are doing this, so I figured, baaa. What surprised me was how well all of these fit, considering I have a gabzillion songs of very different genres on my comp. Oh, and it pulled from my spoken comedy files too. Hope that works for you.
1. Open your library (iTunes, Winamp, Media Player, iPod, etc.)
2. Put it on shuffle.
3. Press play.
4. For every question, type the song that's playing.
5. When you go to a new question, press the next button.
6. Don't lie and try to pretend you're cool. (I wouldn't know cool if it bit me.)
Opening Credits:
David Byrne - "Don't Fence Me In"
Waking Up:
Emo Phillips - "College - The Best 6 Weeks of My Life"
First Day at School:
Nox Arcana - "Echoes from the Crypt"
Falling in Love:
Craic Wisely - "Red Is the Rose"
Fight Song:
Johnny Cash & Bob Dylan - "I Walk the Line"
FYI, this version SUX. I think I lost that fight.
Breaking Up:
John Lee Hooker - "Chill Out (Things Gonna Change)"
Prom:
Tina Turner - "What's Love Got to Do With It?"
Holy wah! This is even the right YEAR! Not that I went to prom.
Life is Good:
Arlo Guthrie - "Alice's Restaurant"
Mental Breakdown:
Enigma - "Matrix II Trance Mix"
Driving:
Emmylou Harris - "Goodbye"
Flashback:
Louie - "Move Your Belly" (from Electric Oasis - Exotic Arabian Grooves)
Not sure why I'm having bellydancing flashbacks, but I can roll with it.
