More Renaissance Festival fun

Today we went to the Kentucky Highland Renaissance Festival - where everything's Scottish, so it ain't crrrrrap! Oh, folkchick3, wish you were here. This festival's "king" is Robert the Bruce. Think of all the spidery tartan kilt-checking fun we could have... *sigh*

I saw Troupe Melek, Minstrel Woode, the Singing Milkmaids, and Doktor Kaboom (a bonafied RenFest genius). grindar & Robin also saw the Pickled Brothers but I'll have to catch them next time.

Speaking of Herself, I got a cassette tape in the mail from folkchick3 with her songs on!

BUT I HAVE NO CASSETTE PLAYER!!! (x)_(x)

Waves vaguely at distant memory of self, circa 1987, swearing I would never give up vinyl, NEVER!

I shall find one somewhere. :)

Bear, Wench, Boo, Lam, and I were there on Saturday. On Sunday they were there again, but I was flinging frisbees on the green-o.

The Pickled Brothers are fantastic...and you may recognize Dr. Kaboom if he took his shirt off... he's one of Ohio Ren's Mud Men.

We saw your troupe at the Dr. K show! Sadly I've never been to the Ohio RenFest - but I'm sure glad all that scientific talent isn't being wasted in the mud here. :D
