Wizardry rampant in Florida schools!
May. 5th, 2008 04:58 pmOkay, so, this subsitute teacher in Pasco county was accused of "wizardry" and subsequently fired for making a toothpick disappear.
Sure, the school district backpedaled with some standard crap about "not following lesson plans" and letting students mess around on "unapproved computers". (Unapproved computers? Why are there *any* "unapproved" computers IN A FREAKING MIDDLE SCHOOL?)
Pasco County has six (very lovely) nudist resorts. One would imagine the area to be somewhat progressive, even liberal... yet the natives dwell in the Dark Ages. Such is the bizarre juxtaposition of cultures in good ol' FLA.
