razzleccentricBHRG Flatliners Lead Cincinnati Silent Lambs to Slaughter
On June 14th, 2008, Bloomington's own Bleeding Heartland Roller Girls (BHRG) will host the Cincinnati Rollergirls in a bout at the Bloomington SportsPlex. After a thrilling May bout between the two home teams, the Flatliners will battle the Silent Lambs from Cincinnati for a Flag Day bout, dubbed "Scars and Stripes." This bout will take place at the Bloomington Sportsplex, located at 1700 W. Bloomfield Rd., at 8pm on Saturday, June 14th.
Tickets are available in advance online at brownpapertickets.com as well as the Sunrise Box Office, Amused, Landlocked Records, Plan 9, Be Hair Now, the SportsPlex front desk, or from any BHRG rollergirl; or at the door starting at 7:00pm. Advance tickets will be sold for $10, and tickets at the door will cost $15. Children's tickets will be available for $5 and children ages 5 and under get in free! Season and VIP tickets are also available.
A portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to the Deep Roots Animal Sanctuary; and the rollergirls are offering a $1 off coupon for a BHRG t-shirt if you bring a can of dog or cat food for donation.
